There's good news for scholars who need to open their potential and pursue their dream about becoming a pace-setter in the business world. An organization committed to bringing business and education together is offering a collection of workshops and events engineered to serve the requirements of middle level, highschool and students. Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL) is a non profit education organisation with a membership of a quarter million scholars preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. It's the biggest business career student organization in the country and is highly regarded for its inventive leadership and career development programs.

FBLA-PBL offers a number of workshops and tests engineered to aid scholars who need to sharpen their talents and get certificated in different competencies. Workshop subjects include business, career development, communications, finance, leadership, IT and other areas that are built to meet the standards of the nation's Business Education organisation (NBEA). School credits in the areas of accounting and info systems and PC applications are available through College-Level Exam Program (CLEP) tests. FBLA-PBL also holds nationwide meetings for members that plug leadership development. The 2006 meeting is being held this summer in Nashville, Tennessee. This year's keynote spokesperson at the meeting is Coach Ken Carter, coach of the Richmond highschool Basketball team and the foundation for the movie "Coach Carter.". The meeting also offers an Institute For Leaders (IFL) where members and advisers can learn, explore and practice leadership talents.
